About Konrad
Konrad J. Dias PT, DPT, CCS, received his B.S. in Exercise Physiology, M.S. in Physical Therapy, and clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Dr. Dias is also a Board Certified Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Clinical Specialist.
Dr. Dias became engaged in teaching, early in his career. He was Adjunct Professor at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and currently is Associate Professor in the School of Health Professions at Maryville University of St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Dias has presented nationally at several APTA Combined Sections Meeting and was involved in a variety of programs to disseminate physical therapy internationally.
Dr. Dias currently works within several nursing home settings treating primary cardiopulmonary patients and patients with cardiopulmonary co morbidities.
Dr. Dias has authored several chapters within the latest editions of the Acute Care Handbook for Physical Therapists and Essentials of Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy as well as published articles and abstracts in the Journal of Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy.
