Stacy L. Tylka PT, DPT, WCS, CLT

Stacy Tylka, PT, DPT, WCS, CLT, received her master’s degree in physical therapy from Saint Louis University in 2002 and her post-professional doctorate of physical therapy degree from Washington University in 2009.

Dr. Tylka currently serves as Assistant Professor in both Physical Therapy and Orthopedic Surgery at Washington University. In addition, Dr. Tylka treats patients with women's health conditions (including both breast health and pelvic health), orthopedic conditions, and lymphedema and is integrally involved in mentoring women's health physical therapy residents at Washington University’s Physical Therapy Clinics.

Dr. Tylka was in the inaugural class of the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties' Women's Health Clinical Specialists (WCS) and earned her certification in lymphedema therapy (CLT) through Klose Training and Consulting. Dr. Tylka was recognized by the APTA Section on Women's Health as Volunteer of the Year in 2004 and as an APTA Emerging Leader in 2006 for her talents in and dedication to the field of physical therapy.

Dr. Tylka’s passion for teaching, clinical experience and specialty in women’s health makes her an apt instructor for this course.
