Rose Pignataro PT, DPT, PhD, CWS, CHES

Dr. Rose Pignataro has been a physical therapist for  more than 30 years. Her clinical background includes wound prevention and  management, acute care, adult rehabilitation, and geriatrics. Dr. Pignataro is  a certified wound management specialist through the American Board of Wound Management and a certified health education specialist (National Commission for  Health Education Credentialing). She is currently an associate professor and  the Assistant Chair of Physical Therapy at Emory & Henry College in Marion,  Virginia. Dr. Pignataro has a BS in physical therapy from Hunter College, a  master’s in health science education, a doctorate in physical therapy from  Stony Brook University, and a PhD in public health from West Virginia  University.
